These days, virtually every other new mall boasts a kid-friendly play area of some form, as more retailers are recognizing that a happy kid generally makes for a happy parent shopper! It’s good business sense for investors and great news for us parents! With the weather so erratic nowadays, it’s nice to know there’s somewhere your child can go to safely let off some steam if the rain leaves you stranded somewhere unexpectedly.
From the (non-exhaustive) list of indoor play spaces below, you’ll find that there is fun to be found islandwide. Some of these playgrounds are sheltered, others are not, but they’re all completely FOC and fun for your kids (and you)! We’ve also listed a couple of outdoor playgrounds that are worth the trip if you’re up for an adventure in the neighbourhood!
Check out the huge rooftop water playground, designed to provide a fun and interactive experience for children with its water features, ground sprays and specially imported multi-play structures.

The playarea here is pretty simple, with just a few activities for the kids, but the bonus is that it’s right next to the food court, so parents can eat while keeping an eye on their little ones. Or simply promise them the treat of some play time as soon as they’re done with their meal!
