Rebecca Sim: If it affects unborn child, then it can't be any better for our kids. Personally I wld'nt take my family there. Why pay to risk our lives?
Agnes Leo B: I'm living in Seoul w my hubb n bb! We don't know how bad the radiation in Japan, but we just know that many Japanese are trying to move here/ to send their kids study here n etc after the 311 incident! So, better safe than sorry later! I wanna go there badly too.... but....
Jeanette Csl: If u really need to travel to jap, go Osaka.. Not affected. A lot of jap friends here rather stay in china than going bck. Unless forced by co to transfer bck, they also ask their wives n kids to stay in china for a few years. Since last yr we had a few jap n Korean new neighbors according to my tenant in sing.. More likely cuz of radiation they came for the sake of kids
Eunice Wong: Heard people going to Japan recently, came back got a bit unwell, GP diagnose over exposure to radiation. Advised them against having baby for the next 5 years. Please avoid going.
Jm Cx: Yeah. I think that is not safe to go too. Look at the effect of the nuclear bomb in Hiroshima today and the Jap are still very cautious about their kids marrying the offsprings of the Hiroshima survivors. And ppl also do not like to move to Hiroshima. It just shows the long lasting effect of a nuclear explosion. If the Jap are scare, I think ppl who wants to go to Jap should be more careful too. Esp if you want to have kids later on. When the media says it is safe to go, I think that is pure BULLSHIT! Ppl only want to make their money these days and that includes the Jap gov, so why should they care abt your safety??
