The Singapore Innovative Children’s Festival will excite your child’s imagination with a spectular lineup of events. Build your own robot as part of a “Robot City”, or watch the local debut of sell-out Australian children’s musical “The Balinese Princess & The Funky Monkey”. These and a variety of other fun and enriching activities are available at the festival, for children aged one to 12. My younger daughter coming to age 3 loves singing very much. She sings to herself the minute she is awake, she sings throughout the day whether to us or as she goes about the house on her own and she sings herself to sleep every night. Her school teachers have also captured videos of her singing to herself in between classes or activities. At times, she would even change the lyrics of the tunes that she sings to.

I like to ask if any one has any ideas of courses / class that takes kids in this direction as I will like her to develop in this area as this seems to be her interest. I also hope that as education gets more academic for her in years now, this could be her way of de-stressing.

For info, my elder has a keen interest in drawings and paintings, hence whenever she is too over-whelm with school work, she finds peace in drawing stuff. So I will like my younger to have the same outlet.

Fun-filled activities for kids await as they collect their race packs filled with race bibs and other goodies.

 Meet The Little Big Club characters, Bob The Builder and Angelina The Ballerina at the Fun Fest. Activities such as Wii Sports gaming stations and mini archery booths will be available for the kids. Parents may also find out more about your child’s foot type with a foot ink imprint by the Family Podiatry Centre to better fit their running shoes and prevent future foot/posture issues.


All registered participants are required to bring their identification (photo ID) and confirmation slip (sent via email) for collection.

Cold Storage Kids Run is also undertaking a project this year to help the underprivileged kids at Caring for Cambodia Fund Singapore to help protect the children’s feet. With every $5 pledged during the Fun Fest, a kid will be able to receive a pair of shoes.
