Rovio Entertainment and Dreamkids Kindergarten team up to open the first Angry Birds Playground in Southeast Asia.

Rovio Entertainment and Dreamkids Kindergarten launched today the first Angry Birds Playground in Singapore. Based on the strongest elements of the Finnish national curriculum (one of the most respected in the world) and developed in cooperation with the University of Helsinki as well as partners like the NASA, National Geographic and CERN, the Angry Birds Playground is a groundbreaking early school educational concept developed by Rovio, which builds on one key value the company has tested many times: when learning is fun, it happens naturally.

The Dreamkids Kindergarten is the first Angry Birds Playground in Singapore and the fourth in the world, following kindergarten openings in China (Shanghai and Chengdu) in 2014.

“We are delighted to bring such an innovative program to Singapore” said Dawn Choy, Founder and Principal of Dreamkids Kindergarten. “We are confident that the fusion of Dreamkids’ value-based philosophy and Rovio’s Fun Learning approach create an amazing world of learning experiences for pre-school children in Singapore, benefitting from Rovio’s expertise in fun learning as well as the value add from Rovio’s great world renowned partners”

“Working with Dreamkids and opening our first early childhood education program in Singapore is wonderful and we are truly delighted” says Sanna Lukander, VP Fun Learning at Rovio. “Our ambition is to make learning fun. We know from experience of our games that when kids truly enjoy what they do, they are enthusiastically engaged and curious. An early childhood education system that gets children engaged and in love with learning, benefits children as well as the countries that understand the importance of these crucial early years.”
